I’m Brittany. This is something totally new and different for me. I’m 26 years old and I have been a step mom since 2018 when I met my husband.
Blood does not make us family.
My blended family is made up of myself, my husband, my son, stepdaughter, and stepson. Brayton, my stepson, is not biologically my husband’s. However, because my husband played such a big part in raising him from a very young age, he is my stepson.
Our situation is unique to us, as are most blended families. I’m just here to share my experiences, thoughts, struggles, achievements, and everything in between.
Brayton is 8 and is smart, kind, and strong willed. He is helpful, but also knows how to stir the pot. We butt heads and argue but I love having him around.
Carmen is my spunky, sassy, and smart 5 year old stepdaughter. We spend a lot of time together with her only being in preschool half days and me being a stay at home mom. I love our time together. She is a girly girl but also loves hanging with the boys. I’m blessed to be a part of her life.
Cash is my first baby. I absolutely adore him. I love being a mommy. Watching him learn and grow is my favorite pastime.
